Candace Cameron Bure gushes over ‘healthy’ sex life with husband Valeri Bure

Candace Cameron Bure wishes “sex within marriage [didn’t] get such a bad rap,” and is gushing about her own “healthy” sex life with husband Valeri Bure.

The couple, who have been married since June 1996, “don’t have a schedule” for intimacy but do “make time for each other [and] still love each other physically,” Candace told Mayim Bialik on Tuesday’s episode of the “Bialik Breakdown” podcast.

The “Full House” alum clarified that she doesn’t want to give “TMI” or “gross out” her three kids, but admitted that sex is “important” to her relationship.

She noted that while time in the bedroom can be about communication and connection, sometimes it is “just about the sex.”

Since the retired ice hockey player, 48, grew up in Russia, “he can tend to be much more reserved … and a little more serious about life,” she added.

“So when there’s that playfulness, there’s nothing that makes me happier.”

The former “View” co-host, who is the mother of Natasha, 24, Lev, 22, and Maksim, 20, hasn’t hesitated to speak candidly over the years about her and Valeri’s sex life.

In September 2020, the actress made headlines for defending a photo of the former athlete with his hand on her boob, writing via Instagram that Valeri can “touch me any time he wants, and I hope he does.”

Candace told the “Confessions of a Crappy Christian” podcast host two months later that their sex is a “blessing of marriage.”

Instead, she would like it to be “celebrated,” adding, “The fact that we have fun and we flirt together, this is part of what makes our marriage work.”
