Chase Chrisley engaged to Emmy Medders: Inside the over-the-top proposal

Chase Chrisley announced Friday that he and his girlfriend of almost three years, Emmy Medders, were engaged.
“I am the luckiest man in the world, being able to call you mine forever is a blessing straight from God. You are the sunshine when it’s dark, you are the rain when it’s dry,” he began in an Instagram post, alongside several pictures of the emotional moment, which took place on Oct. 5.
“I love you more than life itself and can’t wait to live forever with you! To you my love! Thank you for taking me FOREVER!!”
Medders also shared the news on her own Instagram with a Reel that included the same shots as her fiancé’s.
“You’re everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more. I love you, Chase Madison Chrisley! My heart is yours forever ❤️,” the bride-to-be captioned the post.
In the pictures, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star led Medders by the hand toward the middle of a baseball stadium where over 175,000 rose petals in the shape of a heart awaited them.
The reality TV star, who wore a burgundy long-sleeved shirt and slacks, then dropped to one knee, presenting his bride with a 3.5-carat oval diamond.
An elated Medders rocked a stunning green dress with silver heels, her hair pinned into a bun, as she said yes.
Many of Chrisley’s family members rushed to the comment section to celebrate the happy couple after they announced the news.
Chase’s half-brother, Kyle, wrote, “Congrats brother so happy for you.”
His sister Savannah, on the other hand, told Medders, “😭😭😭 I love you so much!! WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!”
According to People, Chase planned an over-the-top romantic proposal, renting out the First Horizon Baseball Stadium in downtown Nashville.
“I was so surprised,” Medders told the outlet about the proposal. “I had no idea it was happening.”
Much to Medder’s surprise, both of their families were present for the proposal, hiding out in the dugout to witness the emotional moment.
“My dad is sick with ALS, so it was very special moment that he could travel to Nashville and be on the field,” Medders, explained.
Chase added, “It was really important for me that her dad was there to see it.”
Following the proposal, they all went out to celebrate the big moment with some “good old Southern BBQ” at a nearby restaurant.
While wedding planning hasn’t begun, the pair agreed that they “would both really love to get married in Charleston.”
