Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans settle divorce 2 months after filing

Two months after pulling the plug on their marriage, Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans have reached a settlement in their divorce.

The soon-to-be exes came to an agreement on Oct. 24, according to court documents filed in Davidson County, Tenn., and obtained by Page Six. The couple signed off on the divorce on Nov. 3.

The filing states that the country music stars had a prenuptial agreement in place and have divided up assets such as their Nashville home, which is now “vacated” and up for sale. The former pair will split in half the proceeds from the sale.

Page Six confirmed in August that Ballerini, 29, had filed for divorce from Evans, 37, after nearly five years of marriage.

A source told People at the time that the estranged couple did their best to save their ill-fated union.

“They’ve been working on their marriage for a very long time,” the source shared. “Prior to this, they had separated privately once before and have been in therapy for several years.

“They gave it their best go but unfortunately arrived at the decision to formally separate.”

Last month, the “Heartfirst” songstress called the decision to end her marriage “rough” but explained that it didn’t happen overnight.

“I think when there’s a big life decision like that, it’s not a sudden one,” she told CBS.

“There’s a lot that happens before that becomes public. So, I’m on my, like, active healing journey. A big part of that is showing up for this album [‘Subject to Change’] and showing up for myself like I never have.”

Ballerini added that she was “really proud” of herself for pushing through the challenges that came with the divorce.

The pair tied the knot in December 2017 following their engagement one year prior.
