Ansel Elgort’s longtime girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan, confirms breakup
Ansel Elgort and his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komyshan, are officially donezo.
The professional ballerina, 26, confirmed their breakup Tuesday but did not disclose when the two went their separate ways.
Komyshan told E! News she’s currently “single” while checking out the new “Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum, describing life lately as “fun.”
The dancer said she’s been channeling her energy into her “work” and “passions,” explaining, “I’m 26, so right now is the age to push ahead and focus on that — on yourself.”
Komyshan — who dated Elgort, 28, for almost a decade after meeting at LaGuardia High School in New York City in 2012 — added that she’s looking for “inspiration” when it comes to a future partner.
The “Baby Driver” star has not yet spoken publicly on the pair’s split; however, he was caught locking lips with a mystery woman on an Italian beach in August.
Photos showed Elgort grabbing the butt of the unidentified brunette before the two took a dip in the water, where they made out passionately.
At one point, another woman — who also wasn’t Komyshan — joined the pair at a nearby restaurant for lunch.
Elgort’s reps have not responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
Komyshan first alluded to trouble in paradise in September 2021 when she deleted photos of the “Fault in Our Stars” actor from her Instagram. Sources told us at the time that the two were “together but not,” calling their relationship “complicated.”
Confirmation of their split comes nearly one year after the duo made their last red carpet appearance together at the NYC premiere of Elgort’s film “West Side Story” in November 2021.
They then celebrated Komyshan’s birthday together this past January.
