Pregnant Chrissy Teigen considers waxing ‘down there’ in third trimester
She’s not holding back on the hairy details.
Chrissy Teigen is considering getting a bikini wax, though she worries it will be an excruciating process because of her pregnancy.
“I know it’s definitely more painful pregnant but is waxing down there while pregnant a litttttle bit worse or a lot a lot worse?” Teigen, 37, asked her nearly 13 million Twitter followers Wednesday, adding, “I can do a little bit worse.”
When a fan suggested that she “just trim it,” the model, who is in her third trimester, replied, “I can’t see it 😭 lol.”
Another netizen asked Teigen why she would “even bother” waxing while expecting a baby, to which the “Cravings” cookbook author explained that she is “trying to do the doctors a solid.”
And when a troll tweeted that they could not “unsee” Teigen’s post, she responded, “Imagine what the poor lady has to see.”
In August 2022, the former “Lip Sync Battle” co-host announced that she is pregnant and expecting a rainbow baby with her husband, John Legend. The news came two years after the couple lost their son Jack.
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post at the time.
“1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce ‘but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”
Teigen was hospitalized in September 2020 while pregnant with Jack and had to receive blood transfusions after experiencing excessive bleeding.
Shortly after, she announced in a heartbreaking post that she and Legend, now 44, had lost their baby.
“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” she shared at the time. “We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.
“Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever. o our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”
Teigen later clarified that she actually had a “life-saving abortion” rather than a pregnancy loss.
Then, last February, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl shared that she was undergoing IVF to try and conceive another child with the “All of Me” singer.
Since revealing that she and Legend are having another baby, Teigen has been proudly flaunting her growing baby bump.
In November 2022, she shared a nude selfie to give an update on her pregnancy, and last month, she bared her bump in a sexy bikini.
Teigen and Legend, who tied the knot in September 2013, already share two kids: daughter Luna, 6, and son Miles, 4.
