Tom Brady carries Louis Vuitton bag featured in ex-wife Gisele’s ad campaign
Tom Brady is still taking style cues from his ex.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 45, might not have another Superbowl in the bag after Monday’s season-ending loss, but before the game, the noticeably slimmer NFL star was spotted carrying a dotted Louis Vuitton duffel that was featured in a campaign starring his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen.
The “LV x YK Keepall 55” ($3,650) is part of the new Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collection featuring the artist’s signature spot designs — and the bag also has an interesting hidden meaning.
According to the French fashion house, “even as a child” Kusama “was fascinated by dots, seeing them as an expression of uncertainty.”
Whether or not he felt uncertain about this week’s game (or his divorce), the NFL star looked casually stylish in a pair of track pants and a solid black hoodie that coordinated with his bag, adding dark shades and black sneakers.
As for his former wife, the new Louis Vuitton campaign marked Bündchen’s return to modeling after the couple’s divorce, with the 42-year-old supermodel wearing only a pair of jeans while posing topless in the colorful ads.
Fellow models Bella Hadid, Liya Kebede, Natalia Vodianova, Christy Turlington, Devon Aoki and Karlie Kloss also star in photos for the playful purses.
The mom of two — who was seen working out with her trainer (and rumored love interest), Joaquim Valente, in Costa Rica over the weekend — has mostly been keeping a low profile following her October split from Brady after 13 years of marriage.
However, Bündchen recently made a shimmering style statement in a gold gown when she made her first red carpet appearance since the divorce, attending an anniversary party for jewelry brand Vivara in her home country of Brazil last month.
With the NFL season over and fashion week’s ahead, perhaps these exes will run into each other in the front row rather than on the sidelines in coming months.
