David Foster gives Katharine McPhee a foot rub in Valentine’s Day video
Katharine McPhee accepted a foot rub from David Foster in her loved-up Valentine’s Day tribute.
In the Instagram video compilation, posted Tuesday, the “American Idol” alum shared sweet throwback moments set to “I Choose You” by Sara Bareilles.
Foster, 73, rubbed his 38-year-old wife’s foot during a plane ride in one clip.
More footage included the composer kissing McPhee on their June 2019 wedding day, cuddling up to the singer on a boat and putting his arm around her on multiple red carpets.
“It was always you,” McPhee captioned the sweet social media upload. “Happy [love] day.”
Although the couple met in 2006, more than a decade passed before the duo ‘s friendship took a turn.
Prior to their romance kicking off in 2017, McPhee was married to Nick Cokas. The former couple lasted from 2008 to 2016.
Foster, for his part, tied the knot four times before McPhee became his wife, marrying B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer, Linda Thompson and Yolanda Hadid.
Since his and the “Smash” alum’s London nuptials, McPhee has defended their age gap on multiple occasions.
The “Country Comfort” star jokingly told haters to “go f–k” themselves during an August 2019 cruise performance.
McPhee doubled down in a November 2022 interview with the Daily Mail, saying she and the Grammy winner “don’t care” about the 34 years between them.
The duo are the parents of son Rennie, now 1, with Foster admitting to People in January that he will likely not be around when the little one is “50 or 40 even, or 30.”
He said, “I think I can offer him wisdom from my years on the planet, and maybe that’s not a bad trade-off. I hope so.”
McPhee gushed to Jennifer Hudson earlier this month about how much she “would love” baby No. 2 with her husband – but clarified that they aren’t in a “crazy rush.”
