Riley Keough wears replica of Elvis’ guitar strap in ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’

Eagle-eyed fans noticed Riley Keough paid tribute to her late grandfather, Elvis Presley, in Amazon Prime Video’s adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel “Daisy Jones & The Six.”

During the show’s second episode, the 33-year-old actress — who plays a rock star in the late ’70s — wore a red patterned guitar strap that bore a striking resemblance to the one Presley used during his “’68 Comeback Special.”

While Amazon reps confirmed Keough uses a replica of the music legend’s strap in the series rather than his real one, fans praised producers for their “attention to detail.”

Keough recently revealed to Buzzfeed that she used her own guitar for “Daisy Jones.”

“I do have a fun fact that Daisy’s guitar is my guitar,” she said. “It was my personal guitar and I wanted to use it in the show.”

The show’s costume designer, Denise Wingate, also told People she collaborated with Melody Sabatasso, an artist who previously dressed the King of Rock and Roll, to create costumes for the series.

“She actually made two jumpsuits for Elvis Presley, so I had her make two beautiful, long coats for the show,” Wingate said.

According to Wingate, Melody made Keough one “denim leather patchwork” style and another in “a beautiful rust leather.”

The crew knew how important it was to “have a little bit of that history” in the project, leading them to dress Keough in lots of fur coats and black clothes for her character’s dark spiral.

And in addition to paying homage to Elvis with the show’s costume design, Wingate also drew inspiration from Stevie Nicks.

Reid has said the romantic tension between Fleetwood Mac bandmates Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham helped her write the hit novel, and a dress based on one of the “Landslide” singer’s pops up in the series.

“There was one dress that I had seen a photo of Stevie Nicks in,” Wingate told Page Six Style, describing a “white sheer chiffon” number that was “just so beautiful and ethereal.”

While viewers, unfortunately, didn’t get to see much of the dress — it appears on the cover of the fictional group’s “Aurora” album — Keough’s final performance look in the series was inspired by the song “Gold Dust Woman.”

“Daisy Jones & The Six” is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
