Eric André brings mom as date to model event after Emily Ratajkowski split
Eric André arrived at Miami’s hottest model volleyball tournament this past weekend with a game plan.
The newly single comedian, 39, brought his mom, Natalie André, as his date to Carroll Model Volleyball, causing several of the stunning bikini-clad women at the event to swoon over the slick move.
“The models thought it was so cute that he came with his mom,” a source exclusively tells Page Six, noting that the gentleman-like son even got Natalie her own umbrella to shield her from the sun.
“He was really sweet with his mom,” the eyewitness adds.
We’re told, however, that Eric – who split from model Emily Ratajkowski about a month ago – was not seen speaking to one special lady in particular, but was rather “super friendly to everybody.”
“He got swarmed by fans when he first got there and he was really nice to everybody and took pictures,” a source says.

We’re told the “2 Broke Girls” alum spent most of his time in the VIP area of the event, located inside David Grutman’s Strawberry Moon restaurant.
A source says at one point, Eric was seen saying “hi” to Brody Jenner, who was DJing the tournament with his pregnant girlfriend, Tia Blanco, supporting him from the sidelines.
“She came out, which is impressive that she flew and everything since she seemed far along,” the insider adds.
Jenner, 39, and Blanco, 25, announced in January that they are expecting their first child together.
While the “Hills” alum is a veteran of the model volleyball tournament, which has been held in South Beach for 13 years, Eric was a newbie and actually requested to be a guest.
“He wrote the Model Volleyball Instagram account to see if he could attend,” a source tells Page Six exclusively.
It is unclear if Eric slid into the event’s DMs in an effort to make a love match there since he is freshly back on the market. His reps did not immediately return our requests for comment.
The “Eric André Show” alum had been getting serious with Ratajkowski rather quickly earlier this year, but the romance seemingly fizzled as quickly as it began.
The former couple were seen canoodling on vacation in the Cayman Islands in January and out to several dates in New York City.
Eric then shared photos of him and Ratajkowski in the buff on Valentine’s Day, but the “My Body” author, 31, alluded to ending a “situationship” shortly after.
In late February, Ratajkowski seemingly rekindled her romance with another fling – Orazio Rispo, a DJ she had dated prior to Eric – as they were spotted out to dinner in NYC.
