Bruce Willis, Demi Moore’s daughter Tallulah embraces ‘nepo baby’ status with shirt
The “nepo baby” debate refuses to die (hard).
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s youngest daughter, 29-year-old Tallulah, shared an Instagram photo Wednesday wearing a white T-shirt that cheekily declared, “All my sisters are nepo babies.”
The term refers to children who’ve had an easier time advancing in Hollywood thanks to having famous parents, and sparked fresh discourse following New York magazine’s viral “Year of the Nepo Baby” cover story in December.
Tallulah paired the statement-making tee by New York-based brand I Love You So Much It Hurts with vintage Levi’s jeans from Re/Done, and fittingly tagged her siblings Rumer, 34, and Scout, 31.
Commenters had a field day with the star’s style statement.
“Dont [sic] ever feel sorry for getting Bruce and Demis [sic] genes. We all are VERY jealous,” one wrote.
“You are all proud nepo babies. Difference from others is that each and every one of you are paving your own path with your own amazing talents. You’re a true group of badass ladies,” another added.
Wrote a third, “We stan a sense of humor.”
But others took issue with Tallulah flaunting her privilege via fashion.
Wrote one, “Nepotism babies, by definition, succeed in fields that their parents have influence and pull in. These girls don’t do anything with their ‘nepo baby’ status lol you’re just rich and your parents are famous. Get a job then we can call nepotism.”
Tallulah’s not the only celebrity spawn who’s proudly worn her “nepo baby” status on a shirt; in January, Hailey Bieber (who’s the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and the niece of Alec Baldwin) stepped out wearing a crop top emblazoned with the term.
The Willis sisters have been banding together amid news of their father’s dementia diagnosis worsening.
The “Die Hard” actor, who recently celebrated his 68th birthday, has been spending plenty of time with his blended family lately — including wife Emma Heming and their young daughters, 8-year-old Evelyn and 10-year-old Mabel, as well as ex-wife Moore and their three daughters.
