Lea Michele’s 2-year-old son, Ever, hospitalized again: It’s been ‘hard’

Lea Michele revealed her son, Ever, was hospitalized again weeks after he battled a “scary health issue.”

“Today was a hard day,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Wednesday over a photo of her 2-year-old in a wooden crib. “As parents, we have to be strong for our kids. But sometimes you just want to break down and cry.”

The “Funny Girl” star — who shares Ever with husband Zandy Reich — said she chose to shed tears in a hospital bathroom that day.

“These hard times show you truly what matters and is important in life and how much we have to be grateful for,” she added. “It’s been hard to say the least but our boy is such a champ and is going to be ok.

“But it still hurts.”

The “Scream Queens” alum welcomed Ever with her husband in August 2020 after a “very intense, very scary” pregnancy.

Despite her previous pregnancy complications, Michele and Reich hinted at plans to give their son a sibling, however, she noted that the couple has experienced “some heartbreaks” while trying to conceive.

Michele and the AYR co-founder have been together since 2017 and tied the knot two years later.
