Sofia Richie gives first glimpse of honeymoon after Elliot Grainge wedding
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge are happy on their honeymoon!
The newlyweds enjoyed a romantic bike ride in the first glimpse of their vacation since tying the knot in the South of France last weekend.
While the 24-year-old bride did not reveal the location of her and Grainge’s getaway, she posted several Instagram Story photos of their tropical trip on Thursday.
In one photo, the music executive, 29, pedaled down a sandy path surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees.
The model also posted a selfie from their ride, captioned with honey pot and moon emojis.
Grainge wore for navy blue swim trunks and a white linen shirt in the sweet snap. Richie, meanwhile, rocked a floral triangle bikini top, stacked gold necklaces and blue sunglasses.
The couple got married in an extravagant wedding at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes on April 22.
The couple said “I do” surrounded by A-listers, including the bride’s sister, Nicole Richie, and family friend Paris Hilton.
Other celeb guests included Nicole’s husband, Joel Madden, his brother, Benji Madden, and Benji’s wife, Cameron Diaz. Sofia’s dad, Lionel Richie, walked her down the aisle.
The “American Idol” judge’s son, Miles was noticeably absent from the wedding after reportedly testing positive for COVID-19.
During the ceremony, Sofia stunned in a custom Chanel gown featuring an embellished train and intricate beading.
She changed into a shorter dress later in the evening, dancing to Joel and Benji’s band Good Charlotte’s epic performance.
Lionel later raved about the nuptials, admitting to Extra that he was a blubbering mess that day.
“Listen to me, I’ve cried enough,” the singer gushed. “Baby girl got married. When I say that… it’s a great feeling.”
He also gave the groom his stamp of approval, telling the outlet, “I must say, I’ve known Elliot since he was 9 years old. So I know the groom really well.
“There’s a thing down South we always say: ‘Who’s your people?’” Lionel continued. “Well, I know his people, so it really is a real wonder to see them in love and just as happy as I’ve ever seen my little girl and Elliot.”
Earlier this month, Sofia revealed that she converted to Judaism ahead of her wedding to Grainge, who was raised Jewish.
“What a magical day,” she told her Instagram followers at the time. “It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Today was that day!!!”
Grainge proposed to Sofia in April 2022.
“Forever isn’t long enough @elliot,” Sofia captioned proposal pics via Instagram at the time.
Six months later, Sofia celebrated her bachelorette party in Paris with Nicole and a group of friends.
Sofia was fêted once again by family and friends during her stylish bridal shower in February.
Sofia and Grainge have been an item since 2021.
Their relationship followed Sofia’s brief fling with Matthew Morton, son of restaurateur Peter Morton, in October 2020.
Before that, the NudeStix beauty director dated Scott Disick on and off for nearly three years before she and the 39-year-old “Kardashians” star called it quits in May 2020.
