Confused Katy Perry can’t find her seat at King Charles III’s coronation

Katy Perry was spotted looking a tad confused as she wandered around Westminster Abbey in London in search of her seat for King Charles III’s coronation Saturday, much to the amusement of Twitter in what instantly became a meme.
“me as a kid going aisle to aisle after getting lost in the grocery store 😭,” joked one royal watcher.
“This is a new reaction vid if I’ve ever seen one 😭,” tweeted another.
“the way she’s trying to look for her seat with that hat, it’s adorable and funny at the same time,” noted a third.
After the clip went viral, Perry joked about the hilarious moment.
“don’t worry guys i found my seat,” she tweeted Saturday.
Perry, 38, looked smashing in a lavender Vivienne Westwood suit set accented with a giant fascinator while accompanied by British Vogue editor Edward Enninful.
The “Roar” singer, who has taken a temporary leave of absence from “American Idol” for her British jaunt, will be performing at the coronation concert Sunday night.
“I am excited to be performing at the coronation concert and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust’s Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking,” she said in a statement last month.

Charles, 74, and Perry met during an event in Mumbai in 2019 before he appointed her as an ambassador for the British Asian Trust a year later.
The nonprofit was co-founded by the king to tackle poverty in South Asia.
The Grammy nominee revealed last week that she would be staying in some fancy digs, Windsor Castle, during her visit.
“I’m really excited,” she gushed to “Extra,” adding, “I might be posting a lot because I’m gonna be in a castle, for real. This is wild.”
Perry also noted that it will be an “honor” to celebrate Charles’ crowning, which comes eight months after his mother Queen Elizabeth II’s death at age 96.
“I’m an ambassador to one of his foundations for the British Asian Trust, which primarily focuses on ending child trafficking … and it just aligned with all my values [when] he asked me to sing,” she explained.
Other celebs set to perform include Lionel Richie, British pop group Take That and opera stars Andrea Bocelli and Bryn Terfel.
Rolling Stone reported in March that Adele, Elton John, Robbie Williams and the Spice Girls all turned down offers from the palace.
