Prince Harry walked alone to his seat as he arrived at King Charles III’s coronation on Saturday
The Duke of Sussex was all smiles as he made his way into Westminster Abbey in a morning suit with cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice and their husbands ahead of his 74-year-old father’s crowning.
Page Six confirmed ahead of the ceremony that the renegade royal, who accepted his invitation in April, would be snubbed with a third-row seat between Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, and Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin Princess Alexandra.
Notably, Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, did not attend with him.
The “Suits” alum stayed in the United States over the weekend with their two kids — son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 1 — as it is their eldest child’s birthday.
Although Harry crossed the pond for the momentous occasion, flying in commercial on Friday, the 38-year-old does not have a role in the ceremony.
The former military pilot’s brother, Prince William, however, will kneel before Charles and pledge his allegiance to the monarch.
The Prince of Wales’ eldest son, 9-year-old Prince George, also has a role as one of the King’s Pages of Honor.
News broke during Wednesday’s dress rehearsal that William and Kate Middleton’s other two children, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, would both be in attendance.

While the royal family members are expected on the Buckingham Palace balcony after the service, Harry will not join them since he is no longer a working royal.
He and Markle, 41, stepped back from their senior duties as royal family members in 2020, ultimately moving to California. They made their exit official the following year.
The couple had to wait for their coronation invitations “for some time,” according to royal biographer Omid Scobie.
Despite Harry’s strained relationship with his father and sibling, the coronation is not the first time he has returned to the United Kingdom.
The “Spare” author was present at Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, as well as her funeral three months later.
The late sovereign died in September 2022 at 96 years old.
