Bethenny Frankel says these ‘luxurious’ beauty products are actually worth buying

Over a year after Bethenny Frankel posted her first beauty video, it seems everyone and their mother has watched her viral TikTok testing.

So with Mother’s Day on the way, the podcast host, mom and pro present-giver (“I’m very famous at FedEx,” she quips) is keeping it real about what she would — and wouldn’t — recommend gifting.

“Don’t give [moms] something they would buy themselves,” the self-proclaimed “accidental beauty influencer” tells Page Six Style.

To that end, she doesn’t recommend sheet masks (“They’re cheap, everywhere, and overdone”) or fancy fragrances (“They’re copied endlessly”).

As for the “luxurious” products she actually believes are a great value?

Frankel calls Nest Turkish Rose Perfume Oil (from $35) “reasonably priced,” but cautions that it’s “strong, so make sure your mom is as well.”

She also loves the Tom Ford 5-Piece Lip Color Discovery Set ($80) for gifting, telling us of the pricey pick, “It’s just a brand that makes you feel different, so do it this one day for the most important person in your life.”

Or, for a gifting “hack,” pick up the Dior Limited Edition Rogue Lipstick Set ($190), which comes with a chain-strap clutch “that would be thousands if marketed as such,” according to Frankel.

Beyond lipsticks, the “ReWives” host is also dreaming of the celeb-loved Pat McGrath Labs Mothership IX Eyeshadow Palette: Huetopian Dream ($128), calling it “truly elite.”

“I believe in spending once and well versus [buying] a lot of cheap items that get you nowhere,” she explains.

Frankel’s taste for luxury (and present-ready packaging) also extends to wine; her gifting go-tos include her Forever Young Rosé, which comes in a “stunning collectible bottle” covered in flowers.

“It’s on another level,” she says of the wine, which is made on a mom-of-three-owned vineyard in Provence.

But while her business empire — which spans everything from her Bethenny brand to two podcasts — is always expanding, that doesn’t mean Frankel’s slowing down her TikTok testing.

In fact, the star’s own Mother’s Day wish list includes “a social media lighting system that works to perfection” and “a good glam closet organizer.”

Admits Frankel, “I have terrible lighting and no patience to become more professional about it.”

However, she’ll happily take the time to pass down her best beauty tips to her 13-year-old daughter, Bryn.

“Don’t believe the hype. Less is more. Wash your face every single night. Wash your brushes every week. Take care of your skin,” she says, listing a few favorites before adding, “Everyone wants to be young versus contoured and old.”

While Frankel adds that her teen “won’t believe me anyway,” it’s safe to say plenty of TikTok users would be all too happy to take her advice.
