Fans think Lady Gaga is unrecognizable in new TikTok: ‘Who is this?’
Lady Gaga is being mistaken for Miley Cyrus in her latest TikTok, with many labeling the Oscar winner “unrecognizable.”
In Wednesday’s short video, which was set to the tune of “Princess Diana” by Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj, the “Just Dance” hitmaker twirled around in a black tank top while holding several HausLabs products.
“These NEUTRALS are HOT LIKE THIS RECORD 💄💋 @HausLabs (Grrrrrrr…I’m wearing maple matte 😉),” the songwriter wrote in the caption.
“this might not be lady gaga?? am i crazy,” one fan commented on the social media upload, while another compared the footage to “Miley Cyrus cosplaying as Lady Gaga.”
One of the top commenters noted that they “almost didn’t recognize” the 37-year-old “American Horror Story” star.
“she looks like somebody who kinda looks like lady Gaga,” another agreed.
Others went on to compare Gaga’s TikTok to the dancing videos Britney Spears often posts via Instagram.
“My mind is fighting over deciding whether this is Miley Cyrus or Lady Gaga,” one person chimed in.
Another user simply wrote, “who is this??”

Others offered their support to the “stunning” actress, slamming the “shallow + dehumani[z]ing” comments about her appearance.
One user pointed out, “She lost weight for her role in joker 2 and the video is mirrored, y’all are so quick to judge.”
The “Poker Face” singer, whose platinum tresses were reminiscent of Cyrus’ locks, recently chopped her hair for her turn in “Joker: Folie à Deux.”
She took over the role of Harley Quinn from Margot Robbie, who famously portrayed the DC villain in “The Suicide Squad” and “Birds of Prey.”
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, was spotted filming a scene on the steps of the New York County Supreme Court in downtown Manhattan earlier this year.
She wore heavy black eyeliner smeared under her eyes, along with smudged red lipstick around her mouth.
Joaquin Phoenix will reprise his role as Arthur Fleck and The Joker in the sequel opposite Gaga, along with Zazie Beetz, who will again be playing Sophie Dumond.
