Bethenny Frankel roasts Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘drastic’ car chase

Bethenny Frankel believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s car chase didn’t have to be so “drastic.”

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum slammed the couple for trying to drive to a friend’s “really private” address on the Upper East Side after attending the Women of Vision Awards Tuesday.

“If you … don’t want people to know [where you’re going], stay at a hotel,” Frankel advised in an Instagram video Friday.

“If you know it’s going to be so incredibly horrible and the chase is so dangerous, slow down, stop the car, get out, go to a restaurant, take a break and wait it out,” she continued.

The former Bravolebrity, 52, noted that she has “never heard of Taylor Swift or Beyoncé or J.Lo or mega, mega, mega stars like Justin Bieber or Harry Styles” having similar experiences with paparazzi.

“What’s going on?” she asked. “Is [sic] Mr. Magoo and Elmo who their publicist is? Someone control the beast.”

Frankel also questioned the couple’s motivation for reportedly asking a photo agency to “turn over the footage,” accusing them of “alienat[ing]” their fan base.

“Just stop,” she said. “Sometimes you get too far in and don’t know which way to go. They’re swimming halfway between Cuba and Florida, and they don’t know whether to go back or keep swimming. So they just keep swimming, and we hope they don’t drown.”

The businesswoman concluded her video by asking Markle, 41, to consider a future on the “Real Housewives” franchise.

“Just be a ‘Housewife,’ lean in, be infamous because it’s not going that great,” she said of Markle’s life since exiting the royal family in 2020.

Tuesday’s chase, which resulted in multiple “near collisions,” is not the first headline-making moment for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that Frankel has criticized over the years.

In January, the Skinnygirl creator called Harry, 38, “crazy” for divulging details about his royal rift in his “Spare” memoir.

The previous month, she called his and Markle’s Netflix docuseries “boring” and a “money grab.”
