Joy Behar tells ‘View’ co-host Sara Haines to ‘shut up’ over relationship with EP: ‘He’s mine’

Things got a little heated between “The View” co-hosts Joy Behar and Sara Haines during their discussion about having platonic friends.

While the women, alongside co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Griffin, discussed their friendships with the opposite sex, Brian Teta, one of the ABC talk show’s executive producers, was brought into the conversation.

“I feel like I have a platonic relationship with Brian, our executive producer,” Behar, 80, explained on “The View” Wednesday.

Haines quickly interjected, adding, “I do too,” before the “Late Night With Joy” alum snapped, telling the 45-year-old to “shut up!”

“He’s mine!” Behar exclaimed before leaning forward at the former game show host.

As Haines burst into laughter, the camera panned over to Teta, who nodded and smiled.

“During the break before, I invited him to take a sniff and see if my perfume was holding up,” Behar shared while pointing at her neck.

“Is that a platonic thing to do or a romantic thing? she asked Teta, who quipped, “I’m dead from the waist down, so it doesn’t really matter.”

Last week, Behar shaded the daytime talk show over firing her back in 2013 while the hosts discussed the recent death of Tina Turner.

“There’s something about her. I’ve been on this show for 26 years, right, with a small hiatus as we all know — forced,” Behar said with a slight pause.

The comedian added that “for some reason, this death has gotten me in my kishkas.”

Last summer, however, Behar said that she was happy that she was fired by “The View.”

“I was glad to be fired,” she told Time last July. “I basically was sick of the show at that point for some reason, I don’t even remember why.”

Behar’s termination was short-lived, as BAC announced in 2015 that she would be returning for the show’s 19th season in a permanent capacity.

“Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in,” she said at the time. “But I’m happy to be back home. And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics.”

Behar was one of the original hosts of “The View,” alongside creator Barbara Walters, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos and Meredith Vieira.
