James Kennedy teases ‘Vanderpump Rules’ reunion bombshell: ‘This is not a drill’

James Kennedy backed up claims that the final “Vanderpump Rules” reunion episode airing Wednesday night is going to shock viewers.

“Guys. If you think it’s been a wild ride thus far. Strap your bloody seatbelts. The madness begins tomorrow,” Kennedy, 31, captioned a new video shared via Instagram.

“This is not a drill. Get. Ready.”

In the video, Kennedy explained that he had “just watched part three” of the highly anticipated reunion, which will feature a major bombshell regarding Scandoval.

“Let me just tell you, like, if you were thinking that you’re over it, right, or you’re ready to forgive anyone, just watch tomorrow and I swear, you’re gonna get shot back to square one, OK?” he teased.

Kennedy didn’t divulge any further information regarding what viewers can expect in the third and last reunion episode of Season 10. However, that didn’t stop viewers from flooding the comments section of his post to sound off on their predictions.

“I think this proves the affair went on for longer than we thought. Nothing about Lisa [Vanderpump] leaving etc.” one person wrote, referring to how Tom Sandoval, 40, cheated on now-ex Ariana Madix, 37, with Kennedy’s ex-fiancée, Raquel Leviss, 28.

“I think the scandoval started when you and Rachel were engaged,” a second person suggested.

Fans made several predictions about what could unfold on the new episode. itsjameskennedy/Instagram

Kennedy was notably engaged to Leviss but they called off their engagement and broke up in December 2021 after five years of dating.

“It’s about the pasta 🍝,” a mega-fan joked, quoting Kennedy’s famous line from his on-screen exchange with Lala Kent and his ex-fiancée.

“They say Tom and Ariana are back together is this true?” one more asked.

“Pump Rules” boss Alex Baskin sent Bravo fans into a frenzy this week after confirming that the cast’s final sit-down of the season involves a “twist.”

“There is, as we’ve been teasing, a twist at the end of the reunion. So I think it’s the perfect capper to a season unlike any other,” Baskin told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Tuesday.

“We wind down the day of [filming the reunion] and then a few days later, there’s yet another development. I’ll just say this isn’t a garden-variety getting-the-group-together-to-recap show or, in this case, just Raquel speaking her piece of apologies to Ariana. There are revelations and developments that left even our heads spinning.”

Baskin also confirmed that the drama is centered around “Scandoval,” the term used by Bravo fans to refer to Sandoval and Leviss’ cheating scandal that ended the Tom Tom co-founder’s 10-year relationship with Madix.

News of Sandoval’s infidelity broke in March when Madix found a sexually explicit video of Leviss on his phone. She swiftly dumped him and the backlash of their breakup has been playing out in front of cameras.

And as more details began to surface, Madix discovered that Sandoval and Leviss had been secretly hooking up since last summer.

Sandoval was seen professing his love to Leviss in a May episode of the show. However, Page Six confirmed at the time that the duo broke up two months after the affair made headlines.

“Raquel dipped out,” an insider told Page Six, adding, “Sandoval is not the one for her.”

But Madix claimed she doesn’t “buy it at all,” sharing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that month that Leviss – who has shown no remorse for causing the breakup – has been sending letters to Sandoval while the former beauty queen remains in a mental health facility amid the scandal fallout.

Despite the tension, Madix and Sandoval still live in their $2 million California home, though the Drink from Home founder clarified they “do not interact on any level.”

Madix, for her part, is seemingly thriving and has moved on with Daniel Wai.

“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
