Kim Zolciak brags about ‘great’ marriage to Kroy Biermann in ‘RHOA’ return

Kim Zolciak sang a very different tune about her marriage mere months before she and Kroy Biermann filed for divorce from each other.

The reality star made her grand return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Sunday and attended a group dinner with Shereé Whitfield, DeShawn Snow and Lisa Wu during which she bragged about her 11-year marriage.

“You want to know what’s really funny? He said before I ever saw him, when I came up to that room to see you, he saw me from afar and said, ‘I just knew [you were the one] when I saw you,'” Zolciak told Whitfield, as she introduced the pair more than a decade ago.

“We’re still married, it’s 11 years, so we’re doing great. So whatever I did, I texted the right person.”

The group dinner appears to have taken place about a couple of months before the now-reconciled couple began a vicious divorce battle.

Zolciak, 45, and the former Atlanta Falcons player, 37, each filed for dissolution in early May in light of severe financial issues — and almost immediately began leveling extreme accusations against each other.

The Kashmere Kollections founder alleged her then-estranged husband had substance abuse issues and demanded he get drug tested, while Biermann claimed Zolciak had a crippling gambling addiction that “financially devastated” their family.

However, after two months of back-and-forth, the longtime couple were photographed bringing their four biological children to a church service.

On Friday, Zolciak officially filed to call off her divorce from Biermann, and he followed suit a few hours later.

“Their friends are optimistic that they’ll be able to really make it work, not just for their kids but because there is still a genuine love between them,” an insider shared with Page Six. kimzolciakbiermann/Instagram

“They’ve been working on things,” an insider shared with Page Six about the decision.

“They’ve been talking more lately and getting along, so she decided to call it off.”

A second source told us that the couple’s loved ones had been encouraging them to get through their woes — not just for their family but also for themselves.

“Kim and Kroy’s inner circle has been encouraging them to work through their issues,” the source shared.
