Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen’s ‘fun’ daughter, Gia, smiles at camera in adorable TV debut
Robert De Niro’s daughter Gia is already a star.
The “fun” little one made her TV debut on “CBS Mornings” Friday alongside her mom, Tiffany Chen.
After host Gayle King asked to hold the 3-month-old, she turned Gia toward the camera and said, “Look over there.”
Gia, in turn, squirmed in her patterned dress before staring straight at the camera and smiling wide.
Chen, 45, noted that her daughter has “a ton” of hair and also shared that she “did have heartburn” during her pregnancy.
Later in the video, King, 68, celebrated cooing Gia “talking to” her while being held by another individual.
“What’s your favorite Robert De Niro movie?” the journalist asked the infant. “Which one do you like?”
Chen answered for Gia, joking, “The one in the delivery room where I’m the star.”
De Niro’s seventh child, his first with Chen, was born in April. The 79-year-old actor waited until May to share the newborn’s name and first photo.

Gia joined the “Goodfellas” star’s big brood, which also includes Drena, 51, Raphael, 46, twins Julian and Aaron, 27, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11.
Chen told King on Friday that the “best” thing about De Niro is “how much he loves his family.”
She admitted, “That might make me a little teary-eyed.”
The martial arts pro, who was first photographed with De Niro in 2021, gushed about how “very strong [and] very supportive” the Oscar winner was after Gia’s arrival.
Chen had a difficult postpartum experience, with her losing “all facial function” within a week of giving birth and eventually being diagnosed with Bell’s palsy.
While the new mom’s symptoms have improved, she is still struggling to smile at Gia and couldn’t “give her kisses in the beginning.”
Chen went on to tell haters “saying all sorts of nasty things about” her seemingly “angry” appearance to “mind [their] business” as she navigates the facial nerve paralysis during “the happiest time in [her] life.”
