Ariana Madix suffers last-minute wardrobe malfunction en route to event
Wardrobe rules.
Ariana Madix had to have people sew her skirt back together after her zipper broke right before she hosted a meet and greet on Sunday.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star shared an Instagram Story video of one of her agents holding a few inches of her zippered skirt that broke while a second agent used a white thread and needle to put it back together.
“when your zipper breaks on the way to @liplab and you have the best agents in the game 😂 @jenandjuice930,” Madix captioned the video and tagged one of her agents Jen Hyde.
Madix wore a white, blue and green floral two-piece matching set from Showpo ($69, was $100) that consisted of an off-shoulder crop top and maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit down one side for the occasion.
She accessorized the look with a beige Naghedi petit St. Barths tote bag and nude strappy heels.
Luckily for the Bravolebrity, her agents were able to complete a makeshift zipper, and Madix was able to host her Lip Lab collaboration event.
Madix partnered with the custom lip color company to release four $40 custom shades: My Ride or Die, Born Cool, Something About Her and Charlotte.
Madix, 38, aptly named the lipsticks after two of her signature sayings, her new sandwich shop with co-star Katie Maloney and her beloved dog who died about a year ago.
Several fans lined up in front of the Westfield Century City mall store to get a chance to meet and chat with the beloved reality TV personality.

Madix hosted the event shortly after her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval was photographed with a mystery woman while leaving the Fleur Room in West Hollywood on Saturday night.
Sandoval and his lady friend appeared in good spirits as she hopped into his car, and he drove off with her in his passenger seat.
Madix dumped Sandoval after nearly a decade together when she discovered that he was having a months-long affair with her close friend and co-star, Raquel Leviss.
Leviss has since checked in and out of a mental health facility and has continued laying low at her parents’ home in Tucson, Ariz. She has yet to film for Season 11, and we’re told she’s been “playing hardball” over any kind of potential contract.
Meanwhile, both Sandoval and Madix have returned to the new season, but the two have only filmed group scenes together, since a source recently told TMZ that Madix is “refusing” to have a solo conversation with her ex.
