Jessie James Decker pregnant with baby No. 4 after husband Eric refused vasectomy
Jessie James Decker is pregnant with her fourth child after her husband, Eric Decker, refused to get a vasectomy.
The singer, 35, made the low key announcement in an Instagram post Tuesday, showing off her growing baby bump.
“Good morning ☀️,” she captioned a clip of herself walking onto a balcony in her underwear.
The video, which was set to the tune of Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby,” then panned to the sunny Los Angeles hills.
Jessie’s bump was on full display as she sipped on a cup of coffee and smiled in her gray bra and pajama shorts.
“This is the best soft launch of all time,” one person commented, while another chimed in, “What an announcement! Congrats! ❤️.”
It comes six months after the “Dancing With the Stars” alum revealed her husband, 36, wouldn’t get a vasectomy following the birth of their third child.
“He won’t. He just won’t do it,” Jessie told Us Weekly in January, noting that she “keep[s] asking him to go make that appointment.”
“He says it takes, like, his manhood away from him,” the former reality star continued.
“So he’s just gonna leave it, I guess.”
The couple are already parents to daughter Vivianne, 9, and sons Eric, 7, and Forrest, 5.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jessie admitted that they weren’t “doing anything to truly prevent” baby No. 4.
“I mean, you know, if it happens, it’s always a blessing,” she said.
One year prior, the couple told the outlet that the surgery was “TBD” because the ex-NFL star “won’t book it.”
“I’m a little nervous about it. … It’s a little power being taken. That’s how I feel,” Eric said at the time.
Jessie doubled down on her feelings about the situation when she teased the former New York Jets wide receiver in a promotional video for Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin brand earlier this year.
“It’s Father’s Day and that means it’s time for another vasectomy — something my husband has refused to get,” she joked in the clip, which showed her making a “vasectomy-inspired cocktail.”
”So, today I’m taking matters into my own hands.”
The “Eric and Jessie” alum added several little innuendos that referenced the procedure while making the drink.
“We’ll start by filling a tall glass with ice,” she instructed.
“That’s probably more ice then you’ll need to soothe your tender areas after what I’m told is a pretty quick and painless procedure. I mean, it’s not like giving birth.”
She then added a squeeze of lemon, followed by tonic from Betty Buzz, the company owned by Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively.
“Looks like there’s at least one husband out there looking out for his better half,” she joked of the A-list couple, who have been married since 2012.
Jessie and Eric, for their part, have been married since June 2013.
