Sasha Obama wears bikini top, oversize pants as she smokes cigarette with friends

Sasha Obama was seen smoking a cigarette while leaving a Labor Day party in Los Angeles Monday.

The 22-year-old daughter of former President Barack Obama wore a barely-there, colorful bikini top, which she paired with a midriff-baring, blue maxi skirt.

Sasha, who was photographed taking several puffs of the cigarette while chatting to her pals, added a pair of black flip-flops to complete her look.

She wore her long, braids loose and left her belly button ring on full display, as she appeared to go makeup-free for the outing in West Hollywood, Calif.

It isn’t the first time the recent University of Southern California (USC) graduate has been seen smoking through the years.

It seems she may have picked up the habit from her politician father, who once admitted he smoked up to 10 cigarettes a day.

Barack, 62, started smoking in his teenage years but promised his wife, Michelle Obama, he would quit before campaigning for president.

“As a former smoker I constantly struggle with it,” he said in a 2009 press conference.

“Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes. Am I a daily smoker or a constant smoker? No”

In his 2020 memoir, “A Promised Land,” he credited his eldest daughter Malia, now 25, with helping him quit.

Barack wrote that seeing her “frown” when she “smelled it on his breath” made him determined to stop.

Michelle, 59, recently revealed that Sasha and Malia have been living in Los Angeles after graduating from USC and Harvard University, respectively.

“The thing that I love the most is that those two girls are each other’s best friends,” she told Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the “Today” show last November.

“There was a period of time when they couldn’t stand each other, and I said, ‘You wait, you are going to wake up one day and you’re going to look over at that other person, and you’re going to know that you two share something very unique,’ especially given what they’ve been through,” the former First Lady added.

She also noted that seeing her girls “in that place where they’re one another’s support systems and they’ve got each other’s backs, it’s the thing that a mother would want.”

Since relocating to the West Coast, the duo have been spotted out on the town, most recently partying into the early hours of the morning with Drake at The Bird Streets Club.
