Bethenny Frankel may be ‘cheap,’ but Carole Radziwill sold old undies

Bethenny Frankel’s pals think Carole Radziwill’s slights are a little second-hand.

Earlier this week, Frankel posted a video of herself visiting her favorite TJ Maxx and tipping the staff with a bag full of “opened,” but otherwise “brand new” makeup.

On Thursday, Radziwill archly accused her former pal of having a “white savior complex” because of the penny-pinching gesture.

Frankel’s fellow “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, Radziwill, commented on the video, “So much to unpack, but I’m not getting paid to do this any longer.” She added, “But here…one ‘word’: #whitesaviorcomplex.”

Sources close to Frankel then suggested the journalist should consider her own history of alleged (skimpy) scrimping and saving before criticizing Frankel for giving castoffs as gifts.

One member of Frankel’s inner circle responded to the cosmetic controversy simply by sending Page Six a link to a 2018 Poshmark sale in which Radziwill sold off pieces from her own wardrobe — including her used lingerie.

Radziwill, who was best buds with Frankel before they starred on the Bravo show together, offered some 180 items in the sale, including gently-used intimate items like a Lelo white silk nighty for $50, a baby doll number for $81 and a Misha Collection bodysuit for $170.

Talking about playing dirty.

It’s not the first time lately that Radziwill’s broadsides at Frankel have turned out to be something of an “own goal.”

She recently dismissed the Skinnygirl founder as “shrewed but not intelligent.” No doubt the dig would have landed better if she’d spelled “shrewd” correctly.
