Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag: Our pal dumped us for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag claim that an old pal — who happens to be mutual acquaintance of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — dumped them for the world-famous couple.

“Now, they don’t talk to us anymore,” Pratt, 40, says on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, explaining that the individual in question prefers hanging with Harry, 39, and Markle, 42, over the “Hills” stars these days.

“We used to be invited to the parties. We’re not anymore,” Montag, 37, elaborates, to which her husband chimes in, “Since they came in play, we’ve been disinvited.”

The “Speidi’s 16th Minute” podcast co-hosts — who used to live in Santa Barbara, Calif., while Harry and Meghan currently reside nearby in Montecito — clarify that they have no ill will toward the ex royals.

“I did see Prince Harry and he waved at [our 5-year-old son] Gunner,” says Montag, who also shares son Ryker, 10 months, with Pratt. “He definitely waved at Gunner, very nicely.”

Still, Pratt can’t help but shade Harry and Markle for their failed $20 million Spotify podcast deal.

“If Meghan and Harry had played, the game, they wouldn’t be getting their Spotify deal canceled,” says the Pratt Daddy Crystals founder, whose podcast with Montag is part of Spotify’s The Ringer Podcast Network. “OK, let me just say.”

Pratt and Montag feel Harry and Markle’s counterparts, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have a better grip on handling life in the public eye.

“William and Kate, they are consistent [and] clean,” Pratt says.

Meanwhile, Montag applauds their approach to photo ops and press opportunities.

“They always have the perfect shot. They have the perfect look, they do the family, they do the public,” she says of William and Middleton, both 41, who share kids Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.

“They’re the picture-perfect setup,” the “Superficial” singer adds of Harry’s older brother and sister-in-law, who wed in 2011.

“William and Kate, they are consistent [and] clean,” Pratt says of the still-active royals, who share three children. AP

Harry and Meghan tied the knot in 2018 and now share son Prince Archie, 4, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 2.

After quitting their royal duties in 2020, they relocated from the UK to California, the “Suits” alum’s home state.

Amid the transition, the pair clashed with William and Middleton as Harry revealed in his explosive memoir, “Spare.”

Pratt believes Harry and Meghan “blew” their potential success by stepping away from the palace.

“Let me put some facts in. You don’t bail the [system] that’s been doing it for 300 years, you know, the ‘PR company’ that invades countries and makes it look clean, lies about nukes and it’s all good,” he says facetiously.

“Yeah, they blew that one.”
