Criss Angel proposes to ex-wife Shaunyl Benson again after divorce: ‘Still the one’

Criss Angel proposed to his ex-wife Shaunyl Benson once again.

The Australian singer shared a sweet video on Instagram Saturday of herself looking surprised at dinner as the famed magician presented her with an engagement ring and asked her to remarry him.

Benson held her hands over her face in shock and began to tear up as Angel spoke, though she put musician Will Gittens’ cover of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One” over the footage to keep the speech private.

The illusionist then helped his on-again fiancée put the ring on her finger as she stood up and held his face during a kiss.

“A forever promise from my ex husband/current boyfriend/ future husband lol ✨🦋 in our own little bubble of uniqueness. Here’s to our wild ride over the last almost 11 years.. with many speed bumps and detours along the way. But after everything my love, you’re still THE one. @crissangel forever and ever and ever baby 🖤,” Benson, 33, captioned the post.

Angel, 55, shared a similar version of the proposal video but soundtracked it with The Smiths’ song “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.”

The couple secretly tied the knot just before Valentine’s Day in February 2015 after three years of dating, TMZ reported at the time. They reportedly divorced the following year before getting back together.

They share three kids: sons Johnny, 9, and Xristos Yanni, 4, and daughter Illusia, 2.

Johnny battled B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia on and off for years but has been cancer-free since January 2022.
