Alexis Bellino, John Janssen ‘not boyfriend and girlfriend’ amid new romance: ‘Still getting to know each other’
Though Alexis Bellino and John Janssen are romantically involved, the two are “not boyfriend and girlfriend” yet, Page Six has learned.
We can confirm that the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 46, and Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend are officially “dating.”
However, a source with knowledge of the situation tells us they are “still getting to know each other” and have been “enjoying” spending time together.
People was the first to confirm the status of the couple’s new relationship, while All About the Real Housewives was the first to reveal it.
Bellino and Janssen initially made headlines last month for hanging out together at Orange County staple The Quiet Woman, which Beador, 59, often frequents.
After the cozy outing, Bellino’s rep told us that she and Janssen “have so much in common” and are “quickly becoming friends.”
Bellino — whose engagement to her fiancé of almost three years, Drew Bohn, ended in September — went on to add that she and her “new friend” bonded over “emerging from recent heartbreak” and that she was looking “forward to hanging out” with him more.
Though Beador has not yet commented on the duo’s budding romance, she recently hinted that she was healing from “a lot of hurts.”
Though Beador and Bellino’s time on “RHOC” has never overlapped, the current star has a history with the latter’s ex-husband Jim Bellino, who sued the former as well as fellow “Housewife” Tamra Judge for defamation in 2018.

“Shannon is absolutely devastated that John would spend time with Alexis, knowing how much pain and hundreds of thousands of dollars the lawsuit her ex-husband filed caused her,” an insider previously told Page Six.
“This just shows Shannon how fame-hungry he is. John was only using her to be in the spotlight.”
We were told that Beador believes the insurance broker dumped her “the second the cameras [for Season 17] went down.”
“Now he’s cozying up to another ‘Housewife.’ He’s the new Slade Smiley,” our source said, referring to the man who dated a few O.C. ladies before settling down with show alum Gretchen Rossi.
Additionally, our insider added that Beador thinks Bellino “ran to the press” to claim that the Real for Real founder was “bitching” about the former Fox 5 correspondent before Beador’s DUI and hit-and-run arrest in September.
“Shannon wasn’t even on the show with Alexis and has been nothing but kind to her,” our source said. “Alexis is obviously desperate to get back on the show and is using Shannon to do it.”
Though Bellino’s participation in the upcoming 18th season has not yet been confirmed, speculation is at an all-time high.
“I’ll never say never,” she recently told us, admitting that her presence would inevitably “start a little drama” with Beador.
Plus, current cast members Judge and Emily Simpson have both said they’d love a Bellino comeback, with the attorney noting that she “heard Shannon, like, lost her mind and was spiraling” over it all.
“I don’t really care [what she thinks], to be honest,” Bellino said to us with a chuckle. “Here’s the truth: I have never met Shannon; I have never worked with Shannon. I wish her nothing but the best in life.”
