Former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Alexis Bellino is clapping back at fellow alum Vicki Gunvalson for criticizing her new romance with Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend John Janssen.
Gunvalson took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a link to an ad-littered article by Celebuzz — which pays her for every click the story gets — which she captioned, “I am NOT HOLDING MY TONGUE in my thoughts on Alexis DATING Shannon’s ex. I am DISGUSTED and TELLING ALL 💯.”
Posting a screenshot of the tweet to her Instagram Story Thursday, Bellino fired back, “Very disappointing to see this from someone I considered a friend.”
She added shadily, “I know things can’t be so bad at Coto Insurance that you resort to grab quick cash from a click bait article trashing me.”
Bellino, 46, went on to remind the Coto Insurance founder that “there are two sides to every story” and informed her that “100% of [her] assumptions are totally false.”
She signed off, “Happy Holidays!”
Hours later, Gunvalson responded by tweeting, “Coto insurance- which has been in business for 34 years- is thriving ❤️ My feelings on a certain situation involving someone I think is being shady have NOTHING to do with that- oh, & at least I HAVE a business & don’t have to depend on a man 😉 #HappyHolidays #ImAGoodFriend XO.”
Gunvalson, who previously slammed the former Fox 5 correspondent’s budding relationship as “ridiculous and thirsty,” had told Celebuzz, “For me to see that Alexis — someone I actually had some respect for — would go so low as to date Shannon’s ex? It’s gross. It’s low, and it’s not being a girl’s girl.”
According to Gunvalson, the pairing “reeks of desperation to return to the show as [Bellino] probably is hoping this will stir the pot and secure her spot.”
She also “question[ed]” why Janssen “would want to date another ‘Housewife,'” wondering, “Is he also fame-hungry and wanting to remain on TV? We all know the answer!”
Referring to the recent photo of Bellino and Janssen cozying up together at one of Beador’s favorite establishments, The Quiet Woman, Gunvalson, 61, suggested that the businessman show some “class,” “quietly date her and stop with all the public humiliation.”
“What Alexis is doing is downright gross,” she added.
“You know how bad this would hurt [Beador], and you did it anyways. What happened to being religious and righteous? None of this speaks to that. Sad to say I’m disappointed in both of them.”
Meanwhile, Gunvalson exclusively told Page Six Wednesday night she finds it “weird” that Bellino and Janssen, 61, are an item.
“[Beador’s] good. She’s gonna be better off,” the OG of the OC said of her friend post-breakup.
“He’s not good for her. Too much drinking all night long. He needs to go where he needs to go, and she needs to go where she needs to go.”
