Mama June’s daughter Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell secretly married Eldridge Toney before death

Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell secretly married her boyfriend, Eldridge Toney, before losing her battle with cancer.

The eldest daughter of reality TV star “Mama June” Shannon said “I do” on March 4 in Wilkinson County, Ga., according to the marriage license obtained by TMZ Monday.

Sources explained to the outlet that Cardwell wanted to walk down the aisle “while she was still feeling well enough to go through a ceremony” after being diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January.

The bride’s sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird’s husband, Joshua Efird, reportedly officiated the wedding while a camera crew filmed for the family’s WE tv reality series “Mama June: Family Crisis.”

The couple had been together since June 2017.

Cardwell died Saturday night at the age of 29.

“With the breaking heart, we are announcing that @annamarie35 is no longer with us. She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM,” Shannon, 44, shared on Instagram.

“Anna was in so much pain last night but now as a family we all know she is at peace now. I really don’t know what to say as my heart is completely broken. Watching my 29 year old sister this last year battle this horrible disease hasn’t been easy.”

Shannon revealed in July that Cardwell’s cancer was terminal.

“We don’t know what to expect because the cancer is very aggressive, and it grew from nothing to something huge on the left side of her body really fast,” she told “Entertainment Tonight” at the time, noting that Cardwell had completed four rounds of chemotherapy.

“She passed away with her family around her,” the reality TV matriarch said. honeybooboo / Instagram

“For me, it’s an emotional roller coaster sometimes. Mentally it’s always on my mind,” the matriarch went on.

“We know it’s terminal. She’s stage 4. She’s not gonna go into remission. We’ve all accepted that, so I just tell people ‘one day at a time’ ’cause you never know.”

Cardwell is survived by her two daughters, Kaitlyn, 11, and Kylee, 8, whom she shared with two previous partners.
