‘Bachelor’ alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. admits he ‘rushed’ getting a vasectomy, may want more kids

This “Bachelor” wants more babies — two years after his vasectomy.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. admitted during an Instagram Story Q&A Monday that he “rushed” getting the procedure and may want to expand his and his wife Lauren Burnham’s family.

“a year ago i would have said 100% no way,” the Bachelor Nation member, 42, wrote after a fan asked whether he wants “more kids in the future.”

He continued, “but im feeling more and more like i rushed the vasectomy. dont know just yet what the future holds [right now] but im loving this stage with them.”

Luyendyk Jr. included a smiling snap of his 4-year-old daughter, Alessi, holding an Etch A Sketch in the social media upload.

The race car driver and Burnham, 32, are also the parents of 2-year-old twins Senna and Lux.

The couple met and fell in love on Season 22 of “The Bachelor” in 2018 — although Luyendyk Jr. initially got engaged to Becca Kufrin.

After breaking it off with Kufrin on camera, he rekindled his romance with Burnham and proposed to her.

The duo tied the knot in January 2019.

At the time, he compared the January 2022 vasectomy to “being kicked in the nuts as hard as someone could kick you.”

“We have our boy, we have the two girls. And I’m already 40,” he explained to hosts Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins in November 2021. “I can’t be having kids any later than this in life. I want to be, like, an active dad.”

As for Burnham, the influencer told Us Weekly in February 2022 that she had not “necessarily” been “ready to close that chapter just yet.”

She said, “I know it’s hard right now [with three kids under 3], but once we’re out of this space, I might want another one. Who knows?”
