Nina Dobrev hospitalized after nasty bike accident: ‘It’s going to be a long road of recovery’

Nina Dobrev was hospitalized after getting into a nasty bicycle accident.

The actress took to her Instagram Monday to share two photos: one of her smiling while sitting on an electric bike, and another showing her lying in a hospital bed with a neck brace and a knee brace.

“how it started vs how it’s going 🤕,” she captioned the worrisome post.

As several commenters pointed out, Dobrev was not wearing a helmet in the first picture.

“Nina remember to wear a helmet next time!!” one concerned social media user urged the “Vampire Diaries” star.

Dobrev, 35, then took to her Instagram Story to post a selfie from her hospital bed. She snapped the shot from up above, making sure both braces were visible.

Though she flashed a big frown in the image, she explained in the next slide, “I’m ok but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead ❤️‍🩹🤕.”

“I think it’s safe to say my first time on a dirt bike will also be my last lol,” she later added.

Famous friends and fans alike immediately flooded Dobrev’s comments section with warm wishes and messages of support.

“Nooooo! You poor babe,” Sophia Bush remarked, as Julianne Hough noted, “That’s my girl! 🫠
Obviously wouldn’t make jokes if you were not ok…”

Miles Teller’s wife, Keleigh Sperry, added, “🙃🙃🙃.”
