Simone Biles is not cool with those still hating on her marriage to Jonathan Owens.

Five months after her husband initially made headlines for some controversial comments about who was the better “catch,” the gymnast took to her Instagram Stories to call out the haters who are still “blatantly being disrespectful” to the couple.

“I’m going to quickly address this, the joke was never a joke!” she wrote Sunday. “So I’m gonna go ahead & say this one time. Respectfully, f–k off.”

The Olympic gymnast explained that if people “keep commenting or tweeting at me,” she’s “just going to block you. simple as that.”

“We love y’all so much,” she wrote, speaking on behalf of both her and her husband.

People began scrutinizing Biles and Owens’ relationship after Owens went viral for saying that he was more of a “catch” in a December 2023 episode of the “Pivot” podcast.

Biles later appeared on an April episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast where she defended her husband and argued that they are both catches.

“I thought everything was OK, and then I go on Twitter and everybody’s like, ‘Divorce this man. He’s mean!’ I’m like, ‘He’s the sweetest. He praises the ground that I walk on.’ Truly, I’ve never met a man like him … he truly goes out of his way to do anything for me,” she said.

Biles found the feedback “hilarious at first,” but admitted it eventually “hurt” her feelings.”

“One night I broke down and I’m like, ‘Why are you guys talking about my husband like this? You don’t know him. You don’t know who he is and if anybody’s met him, you know he’s the sweetest guy, will do anything for anybody,” she said.

Biles and Owens began dating in 2020 after meeting through a dating app and tied the knot three years later.
