Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton ‘tangled up’ in romance with NYC hospitality worker
New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton is dating a hospitality worker, sources tell Page Six exclusively.
We’re told Stanton has been “tangled up” with Asiana Jayd “AJ” Hung-Barnes since 2022 following his breakup from actress Priscilla Quintana.
One insider says the New Jersey native “crashes” at the MLB player’s Midtown East apartment and is “tagging along during the baseball season, staying in fancy hotel suites that he discreetly books for her,” including the Four Seasons in Baltimore in April when the Yankees played the Orioles.
We also hear that the former Catch hostess, 27, joined Stanton, 34, in Tampa, Fla., for the Bronx Bombers’ spring training in February.
Page Six obtained a screenshot of a photo from Hung-Barnes’ now-deleted TikTok account showing her inside what we’re told is Stanton’s luxe Manhattan pad in April.
Later that month, she posted a picture of a handwritten note that read, “Aj ♥’s G” on a JW Marriott notepad, which she captioned, “That I do.”
In several selfies from her recently expunged feed, Hung-Barnes is seen wearing Yankees hats in various colors. On her private Instagram page, she is shown in the stands at Yankee Stadium.
She also has shared multiple photos and videos from the swimming pool at Stanton’s waterfront Tampa home, including one captioned, “got caught taking this vid at the end lol” as she smirked and looked off-camera.
Other TikTok posts viewed by Page Six mentioned Hung-Barnes’ “sneaky link,” which is a slang term for a secret lover, and “situationship,” a romance without labels.
“Giancarlo doesn’t like his business being out there,” a second source tells Page Six, “but AJ is reckless on social media.”
The pair notably do not follow each other on Instagram, but our first insider says they talk “on Snapchat daily when they’re apart,” and the designated hitter “can’t wait to check her Snaps after his games.”
The second source tells us that Stanton has long “used Snapchat as his primary method of communication with dating prospects because it’s such a private app.”
Neither the Yankees’ rep nor Hung-Barnes responded to Page Six’s multiple requests for comment.
The five-time All-Star, who joined the Yanks in 2018 from the Miami Marlins, was previously linked to models Chase Carter and Mariana Santana.
Page Six famously reported that Stanton partied with upwards of 30 women on New Year’s Eve in 2017 and a “bevy” of twerking beauties just months later.
