Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck attending his 12-year-old son Samuel‘s basketball game together is apparently a “good sign.”
While the couple, whose marriage has been plagued by divorce rumors in recent weeks, avoided locking lips in public during Sunday’s sports outing, the fact that they attended together is a good indication that their marriage is still intact, according to a report.
“It’s a good sign they were at the game together,” a source close to the Oscar winner, 51, and the “On The Floor” hitmaker, 54, told People.
Still, insiders claim that it’s unclear what the future holds for the pair, whose joint outings are far and few between these days.
On Sunday, the pair — who tied the knot in July 2022 — were photographed smiling and giving each other air kisses while saying hello outside of the YMCA. They were also seen walking side by side without holding hands.
Despite the noteworthy lack of PDA, the duo appeared to be in good spirits as they were joined by Affleck’s mother, Anne Boldt.
The “Argo” actor’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, also attended her son’s sporting venture.
Hours earlier, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” hitmaker was seen hitting up a flea market in LA with her child Emme, 16.
It was just one of the few outings J.Lo has had since the pair attended Affleck’s daughter Violet’s high school graduation party last week.
Despite walking into Affleck’s ex-wife’s house together, the pair left the party not long after putting on a united front amid their marital woes.
The couple were seen leaving the party together in a black Cadillac Escalade and heading to a mansion Affleck is believed to be renting out after reportedly moving out of the pair’s home.
After arriving at the filmmaker’s new abode, the “Jenny from the Block” singer was seen immediately getting into her escalade with her assistant and driving away.
Reports that the pair are headed for divorce have surfaced since Lopez attended the 2024 Met Gala solo on May 6.
Last week, a source close to the pair claimed that they are “on two completely different pages” now that their honeymoon phase is over.
The outlet reported that Affleck “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle,” feels “worn down” by the marriage and has been “checked out.”
“Both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities,” the insider added.
