‘When Calls the Heart’ star Erin Krakow shares hope for Mamie Laverock’s ‘speediest recovery’ following near-fatal fall

“When Calls the Heart” actress Erin Kakrow is sending well wishes to former castmate Mamie Laverock after the latter suffered a near-fatal fall.

“Thank you so much for asking; we’ve been in touch and we are wishing her all the best,” Krakow, 39, exclusively tells Page Six Tuesday in a joint interview with co-star Kevin McGarry.

“She’s such a great girl and I hope it’s just the speediest recovery,” she continues, emphasizing her support for 19-year-old Laverock. “But we’re going to offer her family some privacy.”

Krakow — who plays leading lady Elizabeth Thornton on the Hallmark Channel series — notes that the outpouring of love from viewers for Laverock in the wake of the incident has been overwhelming for the “WCTH” cast at large.

“It’s amazing,” the Juilliard graduate says before acknowledging the show’s fans — affectionately called “Hearties” — directly. “It really is, thank you.”

News broke last month that Laverock was on life support after falling from a five-story balcony at a Vancouver hospital where she had been recovering from an undisclosed “medical emergency.”

Her mother, Nicole Rockmann, revealed last week that the family is now planning to take legal action against St. Paul’s Hospital after the tragedy.

Laverock’s loved ones have shared several updates about her recovery via GoFundMe, even writing that her body had been “shattered” in the fall.

“She is enduring tremendous pain,” one post noted. “She has undergone two 11 hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three hour surgery and another surgery.”

However, the update included that she is “doing well” and “showing signs of improvement” despite her recovery being “unclear.”

On Friday, Laverock’s inner circle posted a caption-free photo of the teenager’s hand — seemingly hooked up to an IV — resting on a teddy bear from what appears to be a hospital bed.

Laverock played Rosalyn Sullivan on “WCTH” for the Western drama’s first two seasons. She reprised her role as the nursing student in 2023’s Season 10.

Following her fall, a spokesperson for Hallmark Media told Page Six that the network was “deeply saddened” by the news.

“As a beloved member of our ‘When Calls the Heart’ community,” the message continued, “we wish her and her family peace, comfort, and many prayers during this difficult time.”

“When Calls the Heart” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
