Kathy Griffin posted a picture of her bandaged neck after getting her second vocal cord surgery in hopes of restoring her voice.

The “My Life on the D-List” alum shared a snap of a quarter-sized lesion on the front of her neck with two bandages over it.

“Vocal cord surgery went well. 🙏 As you can see some scarring and swelling. It will be worth it if I get some of my voice back.🙏🙏🙏,” she captioned the post on Wednesday.

Prior to getting her second surgery, Griffin shared a video where she admitted she was “a little nervous” to go under the knife.

“I’m just hopping on here to say that I’m having surgery tomorrow morning bright and early, and I’m getting an implant in my left vocal cord, which was left permanently paralyzed during my lung cancer surgery where they took out half my left lung,” the 63-year-old said in the video on Tuesday.

The standup comedian explained that she has a “tear above [her] vocal cords” that causes her voice to have a “higher pitch.”

“I am a little nervous about this one because it’s my voice,” she admitted. kathygriffin/Instagram

“I’m never nervous before surgery, and I’ve had quite a few, but I am a little nervous about this one, because it’s my voice, and I’ve already gone through it once with the voice problems, so anyway, wish me luck,” she said.

Griffin concluded by telling her followers that she won’t be able to “talk at all for two weeks,” so she’ll just consume TikToks rather than post them.

The Primetime Emmy Award winner has not been one to shy away from informing her followers about her medical procedures and even shared graphic images of her vocal cords before getting her first surgery in an attempt to save them.

The former “View” co-host underwent the procedures after getting part of her lung removed in 2021 following a cancer diagnosis.

By November of that same year, she announced she was in remission.

Griffin has since continued her comedy career and toured across the country –– despite her occasional vocal cord flare-ups.
