Princess Beatrice twins with her aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh, in pink floral dress at Royal Ascot 2024

On Wednesdays, Bea wears pink.

Princess Beatrice bloomed in a romantic floral dress at Royal Ascot on Wednesday — and if her pink frock looks familiar, it’s because her aunt Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, wore the same outfit just two days ago.

Beatrice, 35 — who is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson — enjoyed a day at the races in the exact Zimmerman dress ($1,450 $1,015) her uncle, Prince Edward’s, 59-year-old wife wore to Order of the Garter in Windsor Monday.

The linen and silk midi dress was covered in a muted floral print and featured long puffed sleeves, and while the duchess removed the crystal detail on its attached belt, Beatrice wore hers with the design intact.

The mom of one — who married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a secret 2020 wedding — styled her Zimmerman dress with a candy-colored Juliette Botterill headband trimmed with floral detail, while Sophie wore hers with a jaunty pale pink Jane Taylor hat.

Princess Beatrice stepped out in crystal-trimmed pale pink Roger Vivier pumps ($1,995) and a coordinating Roger Vivier clutch ($1,695), wearing her down in soft curls.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Edinburgh chose different accessories for her outing at Windsor Castle Monday, styling her look with an ivory Strathberry bag ($645) and nude leather Prada pumps she’s worn numerous times.

This isn’t the first time the royal relations have twinned in pink looks; Princess Beatrice showed up to Trooping the Colour 2019 in the same long-sleeved Emilia Wickstead dress her aunt wore to Royal Ascot the year prior.

Pink frocks aside, Beatrice has had quite the busy week after jetting to the Cannes Lions Festival on a budget EasyJet flight (and carrying her own luggage).

With several more days of racing action ahead, we’re crossing our fingers for some more matching moments.
