Andy Cohen raves over Jennifer Lopez as ‘WWHL’ guest after Meghan McCain called her ‘deeply unpleasant’

Andy Cohen has Jenny from the block’s back.

The “Watch What Happens Live” host defended Jennifer Lopez against “mean” social media backlash about her personality.

The Bravo exec, 56, told “Daddy Diaries” podcast listeners Friday that he was “amazed” by the negative online chatter — specifically a Hollywood Reporter article calling Lopez, 54, “unlikeable.”

He clapped back, “I don’t think that’s correct.”

Cohen went on to respond to a friend’s claim that the singer has “pissed off a lot of people,” gushing about her four times appearing on “WWHL” as a guest.

“No drama,” the Emmy winner recalled. “[She] wasn’t late, wasn’t anything. [She] showed up, was game, did the show.”

He doubled down on Lopez being “super game,” insisting he “could talk to her about anything.”

Cohen’s comments come two weeks after Meghan McCain made headlines for telling “Citizen McCain” podcast listeners that Lopez was “deeply unpleasant” as a guest on “The View.”

The 39-year-old took issue with the dancer having the “biggest entourage” she had ever seen, quipping that Lopez was not her “favorite.”

McCain went on to allege that the actress had the show’s “TikTok video taken down” but did not elaborate.

While Cohen did not address McCain’s takedown specifically, his co-host, John Hill, blasted “sick” people for criticizing Lopez.

“People are mean if they see someone at all doing OK,” the actor, 45, said. “They want to rip you apart. [But] she is strong, she is Teflon, she is gorgeous, she knows herself, she is confident.”

While he and Cohen both acknowledged that Lopez’s latest album, “This Is Me… Now,” did not perform well, the “Radio Andy” host praised her performance skills.

“She puts on a capital S show, and she dances the entire time,” Cohen told listeners. “It’s like people are mad at her for doing too much. OK, what’s she supposed to do? Too little?”

Lopez announced in May that she was canceling her “This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits” tour, one month after rebranding it from the “This Is Me… Now” tour amid poor ticket sales.

However, the Daily Mail recently reported that her sales had been increasing before she pulled the plug — leading many to believe she is stepping back from the stage for personal reasons.

The Grammy nominee, who said she “is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,” has remained silent about the divorce rumors that have been surrounding herself and husband Ben Affleck since last month.

The couple have been married since July 2022, and Lopez shut down a bold reporter who attempted to ask about their relationship status last month.
