Sexy, confident, and, apparently, ready for the racetrack.
On Thursday, Katy Perry took to Instagram to promote her upcoming single, “Woman’s World,” sharing a series of photos of herself wearing a moto-inspired leather dress.
“START UR ENGINES, WOMAN’S WORLD IS COMING 🏎️ PRESS THAT PRE-SAVE FOR JULY 11,” she captioned the post, which showed her posing in the form-fitting Miaou design ($475 $133), which was slightly unzipped in the front to create a plunging neckline.
A pair of brown sunglasses completed the eye-catching look, while Perry’s glam consisted of a berry pink lip and a soft, wavy ‘do.
In the same post, the 39-year-old singer also shared a behind-the-scenes video of fellow artist Saweetie, who appeared to be getting her hair and makeup done, perhaps for the accompanying music video, which will drop on July 12.
“Are you a real KatyCat or a fake KatyCat?” Perry asked the “Best Friend” singer, referencing the name of her fanbase.

“I’m a real KatyCat!” Saweetie said in response, adding a few meows before hugging Perry. The “Icy Grl” rapper also shared her excitement in the comment section, writing, “THE BEST !!!!!!! WE ARE SEATED !!!!!!!! I got the keyz !!! Engines are ret to GOOOO !!!”
This isn’t the first time the “Firework” singer has worn a racing-inspired look over the past few weeks. In early June, she shared pictures of herself standing on a crate weather a gray and white-striped set.
Over the past week, Perry, who recently left her gig as a judge on “American Idol,” has been teasing her return to music.
The mom of one first announced her new single, “Woman’s World,” in a body-baring outfit that consisted of a tiny white bikini set and armor legs. She then followed up by posting a clip of herself lip syncing a snippet of the already-catchy tune.
“Sexy, confident / So intelligent,” she mouthed in the Instagram Reel, while also making sure to show some closeups of her bold, robot-like outfit. “She is heaven sent / So soft / So strong.”
The song has already taken off on social media, with Perry resharing Stories, Reels, and TikToks of people reacting to her new hit.
It seems we’re entering a new era of Katy Perry, and just like the singer’s outfits suggest, she’s revved up and ready to go.
