Bartender confirms Justin Timberlake had one martini at American Hotel before DWI arrest

A bartender at the New York hotel where Justin Timberlake had imbibed before his DWI arrest has confirmed the pop star’s claims that he had one cocktail before departing.

The American Hotel employee confirmed to People on Saturday, June 22, that the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” crooner had “one martini.”

“If he was drinking more, it wasn’t here,” a second employee told the outlet.

Sag Harbor, NY, officers charged Timberlake, 43, with one count of driving while intoxicated and cited him for two traffic violations: failure to stop a stop sign and failure to keep right.

He posed for a mugshot with visibly bloodshot eyes after being taken into custody.

The “Mirrors” singer has hired local powerhouse attorney Edward Burke Jr. to defend him against the charges.

“Mr. Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations,” the attorney’s office told Page Six in a statement.

“He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office.”

An insider told Page Six after the “Palmer” star’s arrest that the officer who cuffed him “was so young that he didn’t even know who the pop star was,” adding, “He didn’t recognize him or his name.”

Another source told us that the “Cry Me a River” performer told the arresting officer “under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour’” after being busted.

“The cop replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘The world tour,’” according to the insider.

Timberlake has decided to push through the scandal and resume his tour. The “SexyBack” singer performed in Chicago last week and told the audience that it had “been a tough week.”

“I know I’m hard to love sometimes but you keep loving me right back,” he added, noting that he and his fans have been through “ups-and-downs and lefts-and-rights.”
