Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s fiancée, Jennifer Spinner, freezing her eggs as ‘RHOC’ alum plans for 8th child

Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s fiancée, Jennifer Spinner, is freezing her eggs as the couple plans to expand their family, they reveal in an exclusive joint interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast

“This is something I’ve been thinking about since I was in my late 20s and I never really was at a point in my life where it made sense to do it. I forget where we were having the conversation, but [Windham-Burke was] very blunt and [she] said, ‘If you’re gonna do it, you have five months,’” Spinner, 39, says.

So ahead of her 40th birthday this week, she and the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 46, decided that the procedure was necessary if they wanted to make their dream of raising their own child together come true. (Windham-Burke already shares seven children with ex-husband Sean Burke.)

“I know you still feel really young but your eggs aren’t,” the former Bravolebrity says, addressing Spinner directly.

“[This is] coming from someone who’s older and whose eggs are cooked … because we’ve talked about having a child together,” she elaborates. “Jen is a great stepmom but there’s a part of her that wants to have her own child, her own biological child and I said, ‘If that’s something that you want to do, now’s the time.’”

Spinner, who maintains great relationships with her partner’s kids — Bella, 23, Rowan, 21, Jacob, 18, twins Caden and Curren, 10, Koa, 9, and Hazel, 7 — feels confident about freezing her eggs but emphasizes that she will only follow through with a pregnancy should the majority of the brood support such a decision.

“If Braunwyn and I were just ourselves and there were no children in the picture, I think it would be an easy choice for me. Yes, I would go ahead and have another child,” the digital marketing and SEO expert shares.

“I want to make sure that [the children] feel like they have agency in this choice because we’re not just growing a family that’s her and I. We’re growing a family that already exists and so I just want to make sure that before we make a decision that the younger kids have a say.”

Windham-Burke says she’s discussed Spinner’s choice to freeze her eggs with eldest daughter Bella, who was “OK with it” — but enthuses that her younger kids are thrilled about the prospect of welcoming another sibling.

“I’ve talked to the little kids about it and they’re really excited,” says the sober coach. “They would love that. So we’ll see where it lands.”

Spinner notes that the women are “probably going to move forward” with having a baby. “But for me, it has to be at least six of seven yeses,” she reiterates.

Windham-Burke — who came out as a lesbian in December 2020 — proposed to Spinner in July 2023. The engagement came nearly a year after she filed for divorce from Burke in October 2022 after an extended separation from the businessman.

Spinner and Windham-Burke tell us that their original plan to wed in October of this year in their new hometown of Franklin, Tenn., has stalled due to the latter’s ongoing post-divorce legal battle with Burke — including clashes over his alleged refusal to pay child support and alimony.

“We have the appointment made and we start August 4,” says Windham-Burke. “That’s when we start the process. We talked to the doctor, got all the information.”

The LGBTQIA+ advocate says that she is looking forward to offering Spinner support if and when she experiences her first pregnancy.

“I won’t have the exhaustion of pregnancy and all of the hormones and everything. So when she’s recovering, I’ll be feeling OK,” Windham-Burke surmises.

“I’m going to be the one who has to leave at midnight to go get the pickles and ice cream. I’m excited to see her in that role, being pregnant. It is so beautiful.”

Before then, though, the pair is celebrating Spinner’s milestone birthday with a big bash this week before jetting off to Central America where they can relax before the physically and emotionally taxing egg retrieval process.

“After our birthday party, we head to Guatemala for her never-ending birthday month. And then we start right when we get back,” says Windham Burke, to which Spinner quips, “[It’s] the natural lesbian 40th birthday gift to themselves!”
