Olivia Flowers confirms she was fired from ‘Southern Charm’: ‘It wasn’t my choice’

Olivia Flowers is “super bummed” that she won’t be returning for Season 10 of “Southern Charm.”

The “disappointed” reality star confirmed her firing on the “Scheananigans With Scheana Shay” podcast on Friday, admitting her exit was “not [her] choice” and that she was “thrown off.”

Flowers brought up the show by confessing to having “a lot more free time” since she’s “not on this new season.”

The 32-year-old clarified, “A lot of people think I made the choice, like, I have this new relationship and I’m choosing another path.”

Instead, she explained that she was let go “a few weeks before filming” picked back up.

“I got the call,” Flowers recalled. “The production company was just like, ‘You don’t really seem to be in Charleston that much. We’re noticing on your Instagram you’re in Texas, you’ve got this new boyfriend, and it just seems like you’re choosing a different path.'”

She continued, “I don’t think it’s choosing a different path. I’m just kinda living my life. My parents had just moved to Texas, and the boyfriend thing just happened very randomly. I’m really glad… like, he was the best part that came out of that year.”

The Bravolebrity “wish[es] there had been more communication” because she didn’t know her actions were “working against” her.

“I wanted to have another season to get to be more me. Last season was very heavy, and I was honestly trying to keep my head above water,” she told listeners, referencing her brother Conner’s January 2023 death.

Flowers was “looking forward” to a chance to “be [her]self, show [her] personality and explore new friendships.”

Page Six reached out to Bravo but the network does not comment on casting.

The actress joined the network as a member of the “Southern Charm” cast in Season 8 while dating Austen Kroll in 2022 and “hope[s] the door is not closed for good.”

In addition to her family tragedy, Flowers also made headlines during her time on the show for admitting to once hooking up with Kathryn Dennis’ ex Thomas Ravenel.

“I was fresh out of college, 20 years old, dumb drunken night, one time, had a hookup with T-Rav, and I wanted to take [it] to my grave,” she said during the Season 9 reunion in January. “Who wouldn’t?”

With Flowers confirming she won’t be returning, her Instagram users rallied against the decision, calling it “strange” and urging the network to “bring her back.”
