“During a recital held during a music festival held in the resort of Costinești, Constanța county, [Khalifa] possessed over 18 grams of cannabis (risk drug) and consumed (on stage) another amount of cannabis under the shape of a craft cigarette.”

Per Barron’s, the 10-time Grammy nominee and other people were taken in for questioning early Sunday. Though Khalifa was charged, he was released from custody.

A video posted online also shows the “See You Again” rapper, 36, being escorted from the festival grounds surrounded by a group of Romanian police officers.

Possession of marijuana in Romania can be punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Page Six has reached out to Khalifa’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Following the incident, Khalifa — born Cameron Jibril Thomaz — took to X to say that he did not “mean any disrespect” to the country of Romania by “lighting up on stage.”

“They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time,” he added.

Khalifa is often candid about his love for weed.

In January, he admitted that he shows up to his son Sebastian’s parent-teacher conferences high.

“Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” he said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast at the time.

“They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day [where] you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed.”

The “Work Hard, Play Hard” emcee — who shares Sebastian, 11, with ex-wife Amber Rose — added that he is “pretty sure” his son “smells like weed.”

“I don’t know because I can’t smell it but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot,” he quipped.

That same month, Khalifa also admitted in an interview with SkinBone that he smokes “like 30” joints a day.
