‘RHONJ’ star Jennifer Aydin claps back at criticism after losing weight with Mounjaro

Jennifer Aydin admitted she is using Mounjaro — moments after denying taking Ozempic, a similar weight-loss medication.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” Sunday when host Andy Cohen told her, “Before the show, you wanted to make it clear you’re not on Ozempic.”

“Oh no, I am not on Ozempic! So everybody who’s yelling at me saying my head is too big for my body, it’s just my hair. [They’re also saying] that I got to stop taking Ozempic because their family members can’t get it,” she clapped back.

Aydin, 47, doubled down that she is “not on Ozempic” before hilariously clearing the air.

“I’m on Mounjaro, OK?! So it’s Mounjaro, it’s 2.5,” she said, referring to the average starting dose of 2.5 mg of the injection once a week.

The Bravolebrity gushed that she “love[s] being this weight” and has “so much energy” now.

Aydin addressed her appearance after fans have flooded her Instagram comments to ask whether she was on Ozempic.

Below a video she recently shared showing off her fit physique in a blue bikini, Aydin received dozens of the same comment.

“Ozempic by any chance?” one user asked.

“You look great don’t need any more Ozempic,” another person commented.

“Oh my God, please you ladies need to stop using Ozempic. It’s not looking cute anymore,” someone else wrote.

Aydin joins a slew of her co-stars and fellow Bravolebrities who have owned up to taking the drug to slim down.

“RHONJ” star Melissa Gorga claimed in May that she is the “only one on the cast” who does not take Ozempic.

“I work out really, really hard. To each their own for everything, but no, I don’t take it,” Gorga, 45, said on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show.

Both Margaret Josephs and Dolores Catania have fessed up to using the medication to help their weight-loss journeys, and they have defended their decisions as well.

“After menopause, it’s so hard to lose weight. And then you’re shamed for it if you’re heavy. It shuts off that food noise, my blood work is great. [Before Ozempic] I couldn’t do anything. It doesn’t matter if I was eating right or exercising, so I don’t know why there’s any shame in it if it’s helpful to people,” Josephs, 57, said on “Sherri” in May.

Catania, 53, agreed with her co-star and said “there’s no shame in it.”

“If a doctor gives it to you, if you’re doing things right, you’re becoming healthier by losing weight. It’s a bunch of great things that come along with this,” she enthused.

Meanwhile, Jackie Goldschneider and Danielle Cabral have both been outspoken against the drug.

Fans also previously questioned whether Teresa Giudice has dabbled in Ozempic, but she has never addressed the speculation.

In addition to the Jersey ladies, Emily Simpson from “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Heather Gay from “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” and Caroline Stanbury from “The Real Housewives of Dubai” are among the Bravolebrities who have talked about using some form of weight-loss medication.
