Christina Hall initiated Josh Hall divorce, left him ‘blindsided’: report
Josh Hall may have made headlines for filing for divorce from Christina Hall last week — but she was the one to initiate their split.
After a disagreement, the “Flip or Flop” alum, 41, stopped talking to her estranged husband, TMZ reported Friday.
When the HGTV personality would only speak to Josh, 43, through an attorney, he lawyered up as well.
The outlet noted that Christina’s “blindsided” and “sad” ex is living in Nashville where he has been working out and going to church.
“He knew there were ups and downs in their marriage, but never expected his relationship with Christina would end this way,” a source claimed. “Josh was seriously committed to Christina … as his social, professional and romantic lives all revolved around her.”
Page Six has reached out to Christina’s rep for comment.
The former couple announced their engagement in September 2021, tying the knot the following month.
Since the pair went public with their wedding in April 2022, Josh has appeared on “Christina on the Coast” and “Christina in the Country” — and was set to co-star in “The Flip Off” with Christina’s ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae Young.
Josh filed for divorce on July 15, listing July 8 as their separation date.
He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup.
Christina, who was also previously married to Ant Anstead, alleged in court documents obtained by Page Six on Thursday that Josh transferred $35,000 of her “property rental income” into his personal account after their breakup.
Josh has denied any wrongdoing (via Entertainment Tonight).
Christina also claimed in the filing that she “communicated to Josh [on July 7] that [she] would be filing for dissolution.”
She broke her silence on the split in an Instagram Story Thursday instead of “waiting for the typical hired PR rep speech.”
The reality star, who is the mother of daughter Taylor and sons Brayden and Hudson, called Josh an “insecure man” with a “large ego” trying to “derail” her.
