Melania Trump steps out with $3,650 Burberry bag and ‘FLOTUS’ luggage amid husband Donald’s battle against Kamala Harris
Melania Trump has made her intentions clear — and in style.
Despite the former first lady sometimes skipping the chance to be by her husband Donald Trump’s side during his intense campaign for the 2024 presidency, she made it clear where she plans to be at the start of 2025 by stepping out in New York City Saturday carrying Louis Vuitton luggage adorned with a “FLOTUS” tag.
She also had “FLOTUS” emblazoned on a garment bag a worker carried for her as she exited her husband’s Trump Tower.
She did not travel light, bringing along three pieces of luggage from the luxury label: the Sirius 55 suitcase ($2,490), Keepall 55 duffle ($2,210) and Cruiser Bag 45 ($3,050).
Melania, 54, also toted a Burberry Belt handbag ($3,650) during her Saturday outing. Styling her outfit to match it, she wore wide-legged green trousers and a plain white T-shirt.
She accessorized with oversized aviator sunglasses and finished her simple yet sophisticated look with gold sandals. Her hair was left down and parted in the middle.
Once her pricey bags were loaded into a Secret Service vehicle, she hit the road for New Jersey.
Meanwhile, Donald, 78, traveled to Atlanta Saturday to campaign at the Georgia State University Convocation Center with his vice president pick, J.D. Vance.
Kamala Harris, who secured enough delegates to become the official Democratic nominee on Friday, held a rally at the same location and spoke in front of 10,000 supporters.
Melania has remained fairly quiet throughout the former president’s bid for president this year, though she did speak out following his assassination attempt in July.
“When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change,” she said in a statement.
“I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband.”
Days before, she raised $1.4 million at a Trump Tower fundraiser wearing a red Valentino dress with floral appliqués and Christian Louboutin heels.
