Olivia Munn sent back Christmas gifts from Aaron Rodgers’ parents during family feud: book

Olivia Munn allegedly returned Christmas presents from Aaron Rodgers’ parents amid a nasty feud that erupted shortly into their relationship.

According to an excerpt from “Out of Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers” exclusively obtained by The Post Tuesday, the presents were returned to Ed and Darla Rodgers’ Chico, Calif. home on Ed’s birthday.

The NFL star’s parents reportedly thought the couple had sent him birthday presents and were disappointed when they opened the package to see their denied gifts.

Munn’s alleged diss occurred after she allegedly disinvited her former beau’s parents to watch him and the Green Bay Packers play in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers.

When recalling the incident, Ed told “Out of Darkness” author Ian O’Connor that he stood up for him and his wife — but was certain he didn’t say anything to cause a fallout between them, their son and Munn, now 44.

“The only thing I said was, ‘You haven’t been on the scene very long. You’re just his girlfriend. We’re his parents,'” he claimed.

Page Six did not receive an immediate response from Munn’s rep to our request for comment.

The actress and Aaron, 40, dated between 2014 and 2017. Their relationship is rumored to be the reason the New York Jets quarterback and his parents are estranged.

“I think Aaron took Olivia’s side with whatever happened on a phone call or with Christmas presents,” a family friend said for the book.

“They were a couple and he stood by her. … Aaron found a comrade [in Munn] who said, ‘I see it the same way you see it.'”

However, Munn claimed during a 2018 interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show that Aaron, who was playing for the Green Bay Packers when they were together, stopped speaking to his family eight months before they began seeing each other.

Ed refuted her story in the upcoming book, though.

“She just made stuff up to make herself look good,” he slammed.

“We had a great relationship [before they started dating]. Nothing bad was going on.”

Ed, however, told O’Connor that was not true.

Aaron, however, told O’Connor his ex “has nothing to do with all the years before.”

While he declined to speak more in-depth about his family’s drama, he criticized them for speaking to the media about him and their dynamic.

“I have questions about why they feel the need to talk about it, because it’s like a game of poker,” he noted. “When you are holding all the cards, you don’t have to bluff. There’s nothing they can say other than make up stories, but look at the facts.”

Aaron and his father reunited in 2023 after about nine years of estrangement, which points to a possible reconciliation.

While they have not patched any holes yet, Aaron said it’s “definitely possible.”

His mom told O’Connor that the family “would be so happy to move on,” while Ed added, “And we have unconditional love for him. No matter what happened, we would just like the relationship.”

As for Munn, she married comedian John Mulaney in July. The pair share a 2-year-old son named Malcolm.
