“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” may be the latest franchise to hit Bravo, but they are far from the least dramatic.
Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose and Jen Shah are all rich, powerful and forces to be reckoned with.
Here is everything to know about the newest “Housewives” before “RHOSLC” premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Lisa Barlow
Lisa Barlow is New York-born but has been living in Utah for over 20 years. She describes herself as a “Mormon 2.0” and is married to her husband, John. They share two children.
She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with fellow cast member Heather Gay and is a longtime friend of cast member Meredith Marks.
Barlow owns a marketing company called LUXE and several brands of tequila.
Mary Cosby
Mary Cosby is a Pentecostal First Lady who inherited her family’s empire when she married her late grandmother’s second husband, Robert Cosby Sr. She was 22 years old when her grandmother died and she was forced to tie the knot with Robert, who was 42 years old.
Robert and Mary’s aunt, Rosalind Cazares, have been involved in legal battles over the family fortune since Rosemary “Mama” Cosby’s sudden 1997 death.
Mary and Robert have been married for 20 years and share one child together.
Heather Gay
Heather Gay was a devout Mormon and was married to “Mormon royalty” for 11 years, but she began to distance herself from the church after her divorce and now calls herself a “good Mormon gone bad.”
Gay has three daughters and owns a medical spa business, Beauty Lab and Laser.
Meredith Marks
Meredith Marks is a celebrity jewelry designer who loves to party.
She is Jewish and has been married to her husband, Seth, for over 25 years. Her storyline will be centered around being an empty nester for the first time.
Whitney Rose
Whitney Rose is a descendant of “Morman Royalty” but she left the church after she fell in love with her boss, Justin, and they had an affair. Justin and Rose tied the knot after she found out she was pregnant and they both left their respective spouses.
She owns a skincare line.
Rose and Justin have now been married for over 10 years and share two children, Bobbi and Brooks. She also takes care of her father, who is dealing with his own struggles and relies on her.
Jen Shah
Jen Shah is Tongan and Hawaiian who converted from Mormonism to Islam after learning about the mistreatment of black people in the Mormon religion. She is the CEO of three marketing companies — and celebrates her successes with lavish parties and designer clothes.
She is married to football coach husband Sharrieff and they share two children.
