Crystal Kung Minkoff is getting ready for her diamond.
Bravo confirmed that Minkoff, 35, is joining the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for Season 13 alongside Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Girardi and Lisa Rinna. Here’s what we know about her so far.
She is the first Asian-American to join the franchise.
Minkoff is the first Asian-American to join “RHOBH,” adding diversity to the ladies of 90210. Her arrival comes after Bravo added Garcelle Beauvais as the first black cast member last year.
She is married to Rob Minkoff.
Minkoff tied the knot with “Lion King” director Rob Minkoff after meeting at a party in 2003. They share two children, son Max, 8, and daughter Zoe, 5.
She has her own company.
Minkoff founded Real Coco, a coconut beverage company that makes coffee creamers and coconut chips.
She may have already known some of the cast.
Minkoff attended Richards’ sister Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party in 2019. Hilton is rumored to be joining the cast in a “friend of” role.
She is replacing two cast members.
Denise Richards and Teddi Mellencamp both left “RHOBH” after Season 10. Richards announced that she was leaving the show in early September, while Mellencamp confessed her firing wasn’t a mutual decision between her and Bravo later that month.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is currently filming. It is unclear when Season 11 will premiere.
